This custom My Little Pony was created for the 25th Anniversary custom contest at the 2008 MLP Fair. She was also made as one of my entries into the My Little Pony Project 25 Ponies for 25 Years contest. Keep you fingers crossed for me on that one, lol.

She was made from a Hasbro G3 blank white pony that I rerooted with rainbow hair in pastel shades. The saddle and neck pieces were all sculpted from Apoxie Clay, painted with acrylics and sealed. She is a 25th Anniversary themed pony because her saddle has the logos for all 3 generations of ponies on it. The rainbow with cloud logo for the G1's, the rainbow swirl logo for the G2's and the Heart with a heart logo for the G3 ponies. The white ribbon edging with the little birds was taken from the packages of the G1 ponies. The little flowers were sculpted and a Swarovski crystal placed within each one. Her little tiara is removable and made with beading wire and Swarovski crystals and beads.

I plan to eventually sell her after the Pony Project contest is completed...sometime in late July.

How did you do the hair? Every time I color a pony's hair I use marker.

Okay, I know I've been sort of spamming you with comments today *g* but IMO it's well-deserved. This is absolutely gorgeous.

I only had a few MLPs but my cousin (7 yrs younger than me, born in 1980) was a huge MLP fan. These bring back memories! Hard to believe it's been that long!
