This is Aozora (Japanese for Blue Skies), a corseted pony that I made as an entry into the 2007 My Little Pony Fair's custom pony contest. She managed to get a first place ribbon
 Aozora was made from a G3 pony named Dream Blue. I removed her hair and replaced it with black mohair which I formed into dreadlocks and blue nylon hair that I curled into ringlets in her mane and tail. The dreadlocks and curls in her mane are formed into large pigtails with a black ribbon. Her corset, plaid pleated skirt, anklet and boots were sculpted from Apoxie Clay. Everything was then painted with acrylics and sealed (including her eyes). She has a sister in progress who will be done in shades of white and pink  Aozora is not for sale at this time (unless I got some crazy offer on her I guess), as she is sort of my alter-ego in pony form, lol. |
