I tried my hardest to make this pony's clothing as close to the real costume as possible. The pony was a white G3 My Little Pony rehaired with Katsilk hair in shades of black and brown and also Mohair in black to create the dreadlocks. The mustache and goatee are made from mohair rooted into the ponies face, no glue involved. The outfit was made from Apoxie Clay and painted to match the real costume. All of the beads in the hair (including the sail needle, coins and silver dangly thing, lol) were handmade from Apoxie Clay and/or beading wire. They are insanely tiny. The bandana is a piece of fabric and is not removable as it has been sewn into the hair so that it will stay in position. All of the painted surfaces were painted in acrylics and sealed. Last but not least, the compass was hand-sculpted from Apoxie Clay, painted and sealed. It's about 1/2" square and has a wire loop on the back so it can be hung around the ponies neck. I just wish I could make itty bitty hinges so that I could have made it an opening compass
