This pony was actually stolen after winning 1st place in the 2005 My Little Pony convention's custom contest. I never saw it, my ribbons, or prize after the convention. About a month ago I did receive replacement ribbons, a plaque and a lovely replacement prize from the convention coordinators and I thank them again Now on to the pony. She was made in the style of the G1 Merry Go Round My Little Ponies, in that she has a carousel saddle and little sculpted bits on either side of her neck. This one was done a while back so I hadn't gotten into the habit of repainting eyes yet, but they matched so it wasn't a problem. The pony was a G3 Moondancer that I rerooted with Katsilk hair in Noir and Sapphire Blue. The saddle, sculpted out of Apoxie Sculpt, has a scene of outer space depicted on it, with saturn and a few of it's moons on the display side and Earth with the moon on the other. Shooting stars frame the entire saddle and the neck pieces.
it's a two part apoxie clay like substance, mixed together in equal parts it hardens on it's own through chemical reaction, no baking required. Get it at www.avesstudio.com
May i ask how you do this?
