Artisan Crafts / Dolls, Plushies & Custom Toys

Made from a December birthflower pony rehaired with Katsilk hair in green. Wings are sculpted from Apoxie Clay over a wire base. Wings and eyes painted with acrylics and sealed. Removable tiara made from Swarovski crystals and beading wire.

I absolutely love her wings! did you have to fire them? if not how long did they take to set and how'd you get the feathers layered so well?

Not fired, used Apoxie Clay from www.avesstudio.com. It's a two part clay-like apoxie that hardens through chemical reaction, takes a couple of hours to harden fully. Each feather is individually applied and detailed one at a time.
