Artist's Comments

Made from a December birthflower pony rehaired with Katsilk hair in green. Wings are sculpted from Apoxie Clay over a wire base. Wings and eyes painted with acrylics and sealed. Removable tiara made from Swarovski crystals and beading wire.

This is one of the most awesome things ever! I love it. The only problem I can see is the contrast between the simplicity of the body and the detailed-ness of the wings. But it actually works out pretty well, so it's cool. The wings are awesome.

The simplistic look of the pony was one of my ultimate goals, in order to highlight the wings which are meant to be the main focus of the pony. I often don't put symbols on the pegasus ponies also in order to keep it from being too busy. Thank you so much for your comments!
