Artist's Comments
This custom My Little Pony is the sister to my previous corseted dreadlocked pony Aozora (blue skies). This is Shirokumo (white cloud). Or at least I hope that's the right word for whtie cloud, lol. Anyway, Shirokumo was made from a G3 My Little Pony named Chilly Breezes. I removed her original hair and replaced it with pink nylon hair. I rooted the hair along her forehead to give the look of bangs. The dreadlocks are made from white mohair. I sculpted the corset, skirt, boots and anklet with Apoxie Clay, then painted everything with acrylics and sealed it for protection. The eyes were also repainted and sealed.
Shirokumo and Aozora will be for sale sometime in the next month or two on eBay (unless I get some nutty offer before then, lol). I'm waiting for the Hasbro Pony Project contest to be over first though (should be at the end of July) as I entered the design for Shirokumo in that contest. |
