Artist's Comments
This is a custom My Little Pony toy made in the image of the unicorn from The Last Unicorn. I heard that Peter S. Beagle was going to be at Akon this year so I'm sending her to a friend in an attempt to get it autographed. I've been a big fan of this movie since I was very little. The original pony was named Love-a-belle, I removed her original 3-D symbol, mane and tail. I then completely sculpted a new tail, leg hair, mane, and unicorn horn. The hooves were also carved a bit to make them cloven. Then the pony was painted in acrylics and sealed. The eyes were also completely repainted in the style of the unicorn's from the movie. There are many subtle shades of purple, lavender and light blue throughout the hair, hooves and horn of the pony. I wish that the photos could do this girl justice, but they will have to do I guess
