I got an email from AquariousMoon today about a seller on the website Taobao (which I'd never heard of til today) that is using images of my customs for some sort of sale.  This person does not own these customs, one is of actually of AquariousMoon's persona pony and she still has it in her collection.  Even with an online translator I can't make heads or tails of the site and do not wish to register for a site that I can not understand.  If anyone is a member of Taobao can you PLEASE report this seller!  The person has no permission from me to use my photos for their own use.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Here is a link:

That is some straight bs, I hope you get it sorted out. Super disrespectful, and didn't even bother to hide your signature. :steaming:

I tried but even I couldn't make out the reporting system. My friend Stensel is married to a man from China so I'll see if I can get him to help out with it, as soon as I possibly can. I hope this gets straightened out. That sucks!

Taobao is a chinese sales site that (as far as I know) only worcks and distributes in China.
The taobao system is generally quite safe, I havent used it much (I live in Shanghai) but people that have used it more often have found little or no reason to complain. Either the seller wont actually get anything from the sales or ha actually attempted to recreate your custom work. If the latter case is true (I highly doubt it) then best of luck getting that fixed. Major companies have had issues with unwinnable copyright cases in China... :/

This is definitely what I've heard about Taobao.  But I don't know about how easy it would be to have them remove the product,- since well. Some of them legitimately own the machines that were made to produce original my little pony products.  Yes, that "Made in China" mark on the bottom, means after they retire that machine some people acquire those machines and continue making products.  So sometimes they aren't even "Cheap nock offs" they're actual product that is just not being produced by original manufacture (Or even more true, sometimes is...)  All they need is to get a hold of one original or even just a cast of an original and reprint them.  They're practically identical- or are depending on the recaster.  Sadly even from a legal stand point here in the US, if they're the original caster, you have less right to alter and sell their product as they have to sell their original product with the license attached and make it look just like your 'alterations.'
